About
Small tools for everyday email
XXY Mail is a set of free utilities for the fiddly parts of email: signatures, address lists, links and HTML. The name is a nod to the "xx" at the end of a friendly letter.
How it works
Every tool on this site is a static web page. When you use one, the work happens in your own browser using JavaScript that was downloaded with the page. Your signature details, address lists and email HTML are not uploaded, and there is no account or database behind the scenes. (Visits are counted with Cloudflare's cookie-free Web Analytics, which never sees what you enter.) Once a page has loaded it keeps working offline.
There is one deliberate exception: the optional MX check in the email validator asks Cloudflare's public DNS-over-HTTPS service about the domain names in your list. The privacy page spells out exactly what that involves.
The tools
- Email signature generator: five email-safe templates with one-click copy for Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail.
- Email extractor: pull addresses out of text, CSV, HTML and .eml files.
- Email validator: syntax, typo, role and disposable checks for whole lists.
- Mailto link generator: properly encoded links, HTML snippets and QR codes.
- HTML email preview: widths, dark mode, blocked images and a lint list.
- Email obfuscator: publish an address without leaving it in plain text.
- Email alias generator: plus addresses and Gmail dot variants.
What these tools cannot do
No browser tool can confirm that a mailbox exists, guarantee how every mail app will render your HTML, or stop every spam bot. Where a tool has limits like these, the page says so next to the result.
XXY Mail is one of a handful of sister sites listed in the footer, each a focused, browser-only toolbox for a different job.
