What happens to your data
Short version: the tools run in your browser and nothing you type, paste or drop is sent to us. Here are the details.
Your input stays on your device
Signature details, address lists, files you drop, email HTML and everything else you enter is processed by JavaScript running in your browser. It is not uploaded to any server. The site has no accounts, no database and no server-side code at all: it is a set of static files.
No cookies, tracking or ads
The site sets no cookies and loads no tracking pixels or advertising. Fonts and icons are served from this site, not from a font service or CDN.
To count visits, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare adds to the pages. It records page views and basic technical data (such as the page address, referrer, browser type and load time) without cookies and without following you across sites. It never receives anything you type, paste or drop into the tools.
What is stored in your browser
A few things are saved in your browser's local storage so they are still there next time. They never leave your device, and you can clear them at any time through your browser's site-data settings:
- your colour theme choice (light, dark or system);
- the details you typed into the email signature generator;
- the address you entered in the email alias generator.
The one network request a tool can make
The email validator has an optional Check MX records setting, off by default. When you turn it on, your browser sends the domain names from your list (for example example.com, never the full addresses) to Cloudflare's public DNS-over-HTTPS service at cloudflare-dns.com to look up their mail-server records. Each domain is looked up once per visit. Cloudflare's handling of those queries is covered by its own privacy policy for the 1.1.1.1 resolver.
Images you choose to load
If you add a photo or logo address to your signature, or preview an HTML email that contains remote images, your browser fetches those images directly from wherever they are hosted, just as any web page would. We send them no referrer information. In the HTML email preview you can tick Block images before pasting if you do not want a sender's tracking pixels to load.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) in order to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. Apart from the cookie-free visit counting described above, we do not add any tracking on top of that.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, including our sister sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
